Flipside lets you create and use Ready Player Me avatars in your shows.

Creating a new avatar

Step 1. Press the menu button on either controller and choose Characters from the main menu.

Step 2. Click on the All Characters tab.

Step 3. Click on the Imported category.

Step 4. Click on the tile with the Ready Player Me logo, which will be on the top of the list. The Ready Player Me avatar editor will open in a popup window.

Step 5. Follow the steps to customize your avatar until you're happy with it, then click Next to continue.

Your avatar will begin the import process, which can take 10-20 seconds to complete. When it's ready, you'll automatically become that character. Your Ready Player Me avatar will be added to the Imported category as 'Ready Player Me Avatar'.

Updating an existing avatar

Step 1. Press the menu button on either controller and choose Characters from the main menu.

Step 2. Click on the All Characters tab.

Step 3. Click on the Imported category.

Step 4. Browse to find the Ready Player Me avatar you want to update.

Step 5. Click on the drop down menu for your Ready Player Me avatar and choose Open avatar editor. The Ready Player Me avatar editor will open in a popup window.

Step 6. In the avatar editor, click Select on the same avatar you chose in step 5.

Step 7. Follow the steps to customize your avatar until you're happy with the changes, then click Next to continue.

Your avatar will begin the import process, which can take 10-20 seconds to complete.

Step 8. When it's ready, click on the avatar you just modified to load the latest version into Flipside.

Deleting a Ready Player Me avatar

Note: Deleting a character does not remove it from any recordings you’ve made in Flipside.

Step 1. Press the menu button on either controller and choose Characters from the main menu.

Step 2. Click on the All Characters tab.

Step 3. Click on the Imported category.

Step 4. Browse to find the Ready Player Me avatar you want to delete.

Step 5. Click on the drop down menu for your Ready Player Me avatar and choose Delete. Select Yes on the confirmation popup that appears.

Note: If you logged into your Ready Player Me account prior to creating your character, your character will not be deleted from your Ready Player Me account, it will just be deleted from Flipside.
